Jack just had his 4 1/2 month checkup and shots this past week. He did really well. Poor guy whaled but as soon as dad picked him up he started smiling. What a trooper! Jack weighed in at 13 lb 10 oz (right where he is suppose to be for his age? ) - we both thought he was going to weigh in a few pounds heavier. He measured in at 26 inches long (in the 90% - taller for his age) - some mornings he seems to have grown over night. He's getting so big and so much more animated!
Jack's finally over his first cold - now his mom and dad have it:) It is nice to have him back to himself and wanting to play more. He is really starting to take to his jumper now that he can touch. He's still a leg man - not wanting to use his arms when he's on his tummy:( It's hilarious to watch him kick with his legs and scoot on his tummy with his arms hanging at his sides. Some day...
We painted today...again. Yep, got rid of that Tennessee orange in the dining room:) Next week we are having new floors put in so Jack can ride his trucks and cars around in a few months...oh and so Buddy and Nelly can come in without getting their paws wiped:)
We are all doing well. Gregg has been busy with work and a shut-down for some program updates. School for me has been busy but good - it is finally the time of year when we can do more fun, hands-on lessons like making cookies for our measurement unit, an edible solar system, twizzler yoga and fruit faces - good stuff!
I'll try to post sooner next time:)
