Jack's "Sassy Seat"

This weekend Gregg got Jack another bouncy seat (the Sassy Seat - is what they call it!). Jack's other seat is still too big for him (his legs don't quite touch the ground) this one we were able to lower so he can kinda swing as he kicks his legs off the ground. It's great to see him be able to use his energy and strength to move himself...a bit clumsy and often one-armed, he seems to enjoy it! We are working on trying to get Jack to use his arms - the boy is all legs and just wants to chew on his hands - it's priceless.
Other than Jack's new seat, it has been a busy week for all with me going back to school. Who would have thought that making just 3 bottles a day could be so much extra work...all the pieces and parts of these Dr. Brown bottles is nuts, but good because they work - Jack seems to take these kinds of bottles the best at the sitters. He has gotten good reviews from Mrs Lydia the past 2 days - napping and eating well and of course showing off his spit-up skills:) Fortunately, I've had my moments at home and not in the morning before school so I 've been able to hold it together to teach my wild bunch of first graders - they have been pretty wound up the past couple days:) Gregg's been such a great help the past couple days with Jack - I couldn't have done it without him - there is a lot to do. When we get more into a routine, I hope that it will be easier. It will never get easier leaving Jack though. I think the most difficult part of this transition is that I feel like I'm missing out on what he's doing and now that he goes to bed much earlier (8 pm), my time with him in the evening is so limited and quick. It will get better... There is so much more I could write but Jack's asleep so I should be too. I will try my best to post pics as often as I can - I am sad that I won't be able to post like I could before so stay tuned until the summer. Jack and I will be posting like crazy again:)
