Yeah - I did good at the doctors!!

Jack had his 2 month appointment today and got great reviews from Dr. Mudd! He weighed in at 11 -5.6 lbs up from his 7 -13.4 lbs on 12/31/08. He's grown from 20 1/2 to 23 inches and his head has also grown leaps and bounds from 14 1/4 to 15 3/4 - this may be due to the fact that we keep telling him how cute he is....opps! We also talked to the doc about Jack's cronic spitting up - the doc said he is fine and will grow out of it. He said that Jack is doing so well as far as growing that we shouldn't worry about all that good milk of mine that he's sharing with the burp towels:( We just need to get him a bib that says "I puke on myself after each feeding" so that I don't have to worn everyone who holds him or better yet for all those who wonder why this little guy is always wearing a bib! Really though, Jack is doing really good. He is smiling all the time, especially at Gregg - he loves his voice and the faces he makes. Jack actually laughed out loud at Gregg last night when he was talking to him. Jack loves kisses too - he will blow you won back with a smirk! Jack has also discovered his hands. He loves to suck on them and make all kinds of noise - it's hilarious!

Double duty for Uncle Christian!

Pics from the ice storm last week

The ice storm came through last Monday night and we lost power Tuesday morning and have yet to get it back. We are hoping we'll have it by next weekend. Gregg took Jack and I north to my sisters in Columbus while he, his dad & uncle headed back to Paducah to work on the clean-up! They have a generator to help run some things but really I think its purpose was to power the Super Bowl - GO STEELERS!!! Thankfully though everyone is safe and soon to be getting warmer!
