Better late than never...bad, bad, bad!!

It has been way too long but it has been a busy few months. Summer flew by. We had a great vacation and spent the rest of the summer hanging out with friends, swimming, playing outside and roasting in the sun! Jack is at such an awesome age - talking up a storm, pulling your hand, clothes - whatever he can get his hands on to get you to come play with him or go outside! Still a picky eater but we are still trying and plugging away between getting more teeth and random bursts of not wanting to sleep, etc. Fun times :) I've been back in school for 20 days...who's counting? Ha! I have a unique group of students - all very sweet which is so nice! Jack is still at Mrs. Lydias. He will be there until our winter break and then at the first of the year go to a preschool/daycare at Lone Oak First Baptist. We are super excited he got into this program as I've heard great things about it and he'll get to be with some of his buddies and play outside!!! Whoot! Whoot!
I'm just about 21 weeks. Feeling good and excited to meet Jack's brother or sister! Finally getting a belly and just about to get out the maternity goodies. I love stretch pants!
Sorry it's been so long but here is a recap of our summer with visits from Nanna Farmery - we were so lucky to have her again for 2 wks when I started back to school. A visit to Louisville to see the Tobars and some other random pics. Unfortunately, I didn't get a single pic of Nanna Peg or Papa H after their week visit here this past week. Papa was busy making repairs to our house and building us a mudroom bench & coat cubby - it turned out awesome! Thank you!
Until next time...Go VOLS & STEELERS!

Jack's first trip to the beach!

Sweet!!!
And one of my favorite parts of the trip was playing in the showers that were suppose to rinse off my feet.
Love it!!!!
I loved the beach. At first I didn't like it covering my feet but then I just dug in and the shovel and I became best buds! My monster truck also performed well in the sand dunes that dad and I made. Great times!
Sleepy
So the first couple of days on the ship slide, I couldn't stop playing, falling, eating the water - you name it but the last couple days I was afraid of it? Needless to say, I moved on to better things, like jumping off the side of the pool and floating in my turtle down the lazy river. Lots of water time!
Are you kidding me?
It's not time to get up yet is it?
(really this in how my hair looked every day because my mom covered it in sunscreen...crazy lady)
Auh, vacation!
(as soon as we walked down to our chairs, Jack climbed right up and sat down like he knew just what to do)
The waves were awesome! I wasnt afraid at all. In fact if dad would've taken me in further, I might have tried to swim!
I think my mom liked the beach the most out of all of us - she could've stayed down there all day!

Jack meets his new cousins!

I had a great time at Papa's house. There were plenty of "cars" to ride - from the Cushman & backhoe to the jeep, I was plenty busy outside! We went for several rides on Papa's trails - they were rather bumpy! Oh, and the chickens, they were rather entertaining too.
One of the many pics grandma made me be in. I about had it in this photo as you can see but I think the rest of the Jarrett/Kimber clan turned out pretty good. Everyone was there except for my dad...maybe next year:)
My first boat ride with Cruz, my mom and Aunt Kelly. It was so relaxing it put me to sleep!
All 6 grand babies with 2 more on the way - June & January!!
Remember this photo from last summer. I think mom posted it last June. My have we grown into such handsome boys!

Great Easter weekend!

My little paperboy

Lovin' my fingers, not the photo shoot. Mass was way too crowded for me...over stim. I couldn't wait to get home, change into play clothes and take a nap.
Beautiful day to mow the yard

Aubree let me ride shot-gun in her Barbie Jeep. I think I'm ready for a big boy jeep!
I think I found the least amount of eggs among all the hunters. I only seeked 7 but I did manage to rip off the mailman's egg:) I probably shouldn't have done that since she just brought me a box full of shoes from Aunt Julie in WV. Thank you!!

We had quite the turn out. Mr. Scott arranged the hunt. 10 kids hunted for eggs in both yards. We had some scramblers, runners & swoopers. I plan to be much more competative about it next year...I may be a scuffler. Buddy even hunted an egg down and ate the peanut butter cup inside. I think he may be on my team next year:(
My new favorite ride. I've already out-grown my four wheeler (not really). I love riding on this loud machine with my dad all around the yard. It is awesome!
So I figured out how to open this drawer and use it as a seat for my make shift car table (train table). I'm not too into trains yet. Just cars and more cars. I'm starting to say tractor. I really like tractors because they are my favorite color - yellow. If you haven't noticed, my favorite things are yellow - Beyonce (the vacuum), the push mower, my Steelers machbox car, and my dumptruck - oh and a new car in our neighborhood!

Game ON!!!

Cruz, Aunt Kelly & Uncle Christian came to visit me. We had awesome weather to play outside. We went for walks, rode the 4 wheeler, climbed logs, rolled in leaves, got knocked over by the 50 dogs running around, tried to go in the creek, played at the park and roasted hot dogs on the camp fire...oh and we slept a little:( Cruz and played cars and had yelling matches to see who could screech the loudest! We played hard.
On a side note, Jack got his cast removed Thursday right before the Tobars got here. Doc said he is good to go. At first he walked around like he still had it on with his arm and shoulder kinda up in the air, but now he's back to normal...carrying cars in both hands trying to do 20 things all at once. Jack just had a birthday on St. Patty's Day, he turned 15 months old! This little old man has finally gotten in 2 more teeth - one on the bottom and one more on the top. We are at a whopping near 6 teeth with 2 more about to break through. Hopefully this means our Sherwin eater will enjoy some other textured foods soon:) We have quite the picky eater on our hands. He's not a fan of much beyond his avacados, applesauce, yogurt, cheese and fruit:( So green veggies, rice, noodles and meat are out of the question...auh! We'll keep trying.

My ball throwing skills as you can see are quite distinct. First, the shoulder wind-up,then the shoulder set , launch and drop...yes, behind his back. This has slowly progressed to a drop in front of him rather than behind. We are hoping with more practice, the ball might go more than a few inches in front of him. Our little pitcher is going to need some practice this summer:)

We are ready for Spring!!

We had such a beautiful weekend with lots of playing outside which = one happy, tired little boy! Jack's doing great with his new cast. Last week we went to see Dr Phil, an orthopedic, who re X-rayed and casted him. Doc said he is healing well and will only have to wear his cast for 2 more weeks (3 total). No surgery which was great news. Jack did much better at this 2 hr appt. He made lots of friends and flirted with all the nurses. He kept flashing his cheesy grin - he fake smiles so big he cant see out his eyes, all the while tilting his head back. It's priceless!
I'm getting so big!
My buddy Brock came over last night for a bonfire. I had a difficult time sharing my toys. We both seemed to keep wanting the same toy. I just kept crying so someone would see that my toys were being taken from me. I was pathetic. My mom kept saying that this is just the beginning to learning how to share. I don't think I'm going to like this at all! In the end though, we had a great time playing on the screened in porch. Mom cleaned it all out and took the old furniture to the GoodWill. We had the whole porch to ourselves aside from my tents, tunnels and hoop that my mom quickly got out of the living room. I think she may be moving me outside...

Great weekend! At our 2nd bonfire of the new year - this time at Aunt Di & Uncle Joe's. Gosh I look even smaller in this pic. Just when I thought I was getting bigger:)
So this picture doesnt show the depth - I was wanting to keep going down to the water. My dad said it's only a 10 ft drop off to the creek - that doesnt sound so far. Buddy and Nelly do it all the time!
This is going to be such a great summer! Only concern I have is that I think I overheard my mom say something about using one of Buddy's leashes for me? I wonder why?

A few more adventures...
